Based in NY, he has photographed over 75,000 pets in 33 states and is known as "America's Most Experienced Pet Photographer". He is also an educator and mentor, teaching pet photography and general business skills to other photographers. Richie volunteers his time to help animal rescue groups.

I Joined the Eating Dog Food for Nitro's Law Campaign: -Pet Photographer...
I have joined the national campaign called "I Eat Dog Food for Nitro's Law." We are each eating dog food until the anti cruelty bill, Nitro's Law, is reintroduced into the House of Representatives in Ohio. We are doing this AS A TEAM. The idea is that we get this movement out there to raise awareness for Nitro’s Law and help it get reintroduced to the House of Representatives in Ohio. No animal should have to suffer the way Nitro and the other dogs did, and no one who perpetrates this kind of abuse onto an animal should be able to just walk away so easily from it.
