The Pink and Purple Piano

I found the pink and purple piano in my neighbor's trash and I knew it would make a fun prop, so I threw it in my van. When a groomer brought her dog in for a session and had dyed her pup's hair pink and purple (and orange) , I knew just what prop to use. I capped it off with the pink cloud background and a pink feather boa. What do you think, was it worth my garbage picking?

A Cool Boxer Visited Celebrity Pet Photographer Richie Schwartz

A dog named Buster visited Celebrity Pet Photographer Richie Schwartz in his New York photo studio.  I  think I did a good job capturing Buster’s personality as he changed poses from whimsical to regal to serious to fun.  We are saving the best images for one of  my  books, but  I am sharing a few outtakes from the session. As you can imagine from these images, a ton of fun was had by all.

       

 

Chicago Sun-Times lays off its entire photo staff

The Chicago Sun-Times has laid off its entire photography staff, and plans to use freelance photographers and reporters to shoot photos and video going forward, the newspaper said.
